Merlin Events was formed in 1992 and has established a firm reputation for quality events. Each year around ten events are staged - classic car weekend tours and longer holiday tours both in the U.K. and overseas.

A strong client base of regular supporters has developed over the years with several entrants having taken part in excess of 40  Merlin tours and one indeed as many as 84!

Quality is the key word in Merlin’s organisation, route research and planning, use of hotels and choice of visits. Merlin Event’s Director; Keith McGee has spent over 45 years organising motoring events so a wealth of experience is reflected in the quality of events organised today.

‘Classics at the Castle’, held each year in mid-July, is Merlin Event’s flagship promotion, an impressive display of over 1,000 cars, from veterans to the latest supercars, all in the beautiful lakeside setting of Sir Walter Raleigh’s 16th century Sherborne Castle in North Dorset.

Merlin Events caters for all cars where the model was introduced prior to 1985, plus later sports and grand touring cars.
